The Rivers State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) don warn suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara say na only better reconciliation fit save am from impeachment.

According to am, Fubara never do anything serious to settle with the lawmakers wey dem elect inside the state. "I go talk am straight, no reconciliation dey happen for Rivers right now. The suspended governor never try to settle with the lawmakers. Na only real peace fit save am from impeachment. Supreme Court judgment still dey ground," Okocha talk. As the matter dey hot, youth groups from Rivers State don dey beg President Bola Tinubu make e restore democratic government for the state and bring back Fubara before Democracy Day on June 12. Make we no forget say on March 18, 2025, President Tinubu declare state of emergency for Rivers, suspend Governor Fubara, him deputy Prof. Ngozi Odu, and even the members of Rivers House of Assembly. So e no mean anything," he talk. Meanwhile, youths under the umbrella of South-South Youths Initiative and Coalition of Rivers State Youth Bodies don blast President Tinubu action. Dem say the suspension of Fubara and other elected officials na big slap to democracy. "For this Democracy Day, we dey reflect say our democracy no dey balance again. Wetin happen for Rivers State no make sense and e dey unconstitutional," na wetin the statement from Imeabe Oscar, chairman of the youth coalition, talk. Dem beg President Tinubu say make e do the right thing and return democracy back to Rivers by reinstating all the suspended elected officials.
