The #OccupyNASS protest don enter second day on Tuesday, as citizens continue to gather around the National Assembly Complex for Abuja, demanding make dem include real-time electronic transmission of results for the Electoral Act Amendment Bill.

The protest continue with the presence of former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, wey reporters sight among the protesters for the venue.

The protesters—wey include civil society groups, activists and concerned Nigerians—remain firm despite heavy security presence around the National Assembly.

Security agencies block major access roads wey lead to the complex, restrict movement into the area.

The barricade draw reaction from protesters, wey describe am as attempt to limit public engagement, while security officials insist say the measures na to prevent breakdown of law and order.

According to organisers, the protest aim to draw attention to issues of governance, transparency and electoral credibility, especially the demand for better real-time transmission of election results.
