“Nobody, whether dem suspect say e commit offence or e dey innocent, suppose suffer this kind barbaric treatment,” NBA President, Mazi Afam Osigwe (SAN), yan for one statement wey dem release on Wednesday.
The association still talk say even though security agencies get power to arrest and maintain order, dem suppose use that power the correct way.
“Even if dem wan arrest person, law don already show clear process wey go protect the dignity of the individual,” the statement talk.
NBA still hail Anambra State government say dem quick quick identify and arrest the operatives wey do the thing, but dem insist say accountability gatz go far pass that one.
“Justice no just suppose dey done, e gatz also show say e dey done, to give Elobor justice and also warn others make dem no repeat this kain abuse again,” Osigwe stress.
NBA General Secretary, Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, add say the Association branches for Anambra and the National Litigation Committee don get order to dey monitor the case well to make sure dem prosecute am correct.
