Because water no dey reach many homes, plenty residents don depend on water sellers and private boreholes. This one dey make families spend more money.

The problem no stop for household water connections alone. For February, Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources tell Nairametrics say public water system dey actively serve 1.5 million residents.

The ministry explain say the reported 44% water network coverage include residents wey get access to the main water pipes but no get direct connection enter their houses.
