Nigeria Labour Congress don dey ready for dia mass strike wey go start on Wednesday to protest di plenty suffer wey fuel subsidy removal don cause.

Di congress don plan to meet federal government on Monday but dem don ask Naija pipu to join dem for di protest "for Unity Fountain, Abuja on wednesday, August 2, 2023, by 7am."

"E no get anywhere for dis world wey government go leave eim citizens to sudden change of market without any control or protection," Na wetin NLC write inside schedule wey some journalists see.

"Make federal government chook eye inside dis subsidy matter instead of make citizens dey suffer hardship wey dem fit avoid"

NLC tok say Tinubu administration dey play games with the lives of Naija pipu as dem also tell government to fix public refineries.

The congress also tok about ASUU salaries wey dey neva pay as one of di reason dem go protest.

Academic unions like the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics(ASUP) and the senior staff Association of Nigerian universities (SSANU) go join di strike on wednesday.

On July 26, NLC don give federal government seven-day warning to comot policies wey don cause fuel price to increase.
