We No Get Plan To Increase Fuel Price To #700-IPMAN

Di Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) and Association of Distributors and Transporters of Petroleum Products (ADITOP) don tok say dem no get any plan to increase petrol price to N700 per litre.

Di join bodi dem tok dis one for interview with di News Agency of Nigeria(NAN),for Abuja on Saturday. Dem tok say di tori wey come out about fuel price increase na guess work.

Di report still tok say na market forces dey push fuel price and by di exchange rate wey dey now, di price of PMS(fuel) fit increase.

NAN report say on Friday, Naira drop against dollar as exchange rate come be #769.25 for di investors and exporters window.

Some oil marketers don dey predict say fuel price fir go p pass #700 per llitre for di Northern region and around #600 for Lagos once independent marketers start to import products from July. All dis predictions na becos di exchange rate wey dey now and crude price and landing cost.

Dis trend cause plenti tension for town as pipo start panic buying for weekend as queues full some filling stations for Federal Capital Territory(FCT).

IPMAN President, Chinedu Okorokwo wen him bin dey follow NAN tok, tok say all di reports wey tok say fuel price go increase from July 1 say na just guess work and make pipo no follow am.

Still, ADITOP President, Alhajii Lawan Dan-Zaki tok say di guess work na becos of di high exchange rate wey dey now, say importers go only sell according to wetin dem buy for international market.

He still tok say make Nigerians make dem get small patience because of di deregulation wey dey happen and say fuel price go stil dey go up and down because of di market forces until everything don stand well.

Dan-Zaki come tell Federal Government make dem make sure refineries, like Dangote refinery make dem start work quick so importation go fit end so fuel price increase go fit stop too.
