Tinubu Send Envoy Go Plateau to Push Better Peace and Community Reconciliation

President Bola Tinubu don send one government envoy go Plateau State as part of new moves to bring peace and strengthen how communities for the state take relate with each other.

The President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, talk this one for statement wey him release on Sunday for Abuja.

According to am, the President envoy, Dr. Abiodun Essiet, wey be Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement (North Central), spend two days for Plateau dey meet Christian leaders, Fulani communities, traditional rulers and youth groups to boost grassroots peace work.

Essiet meet with leaders of the Regional Church Council for Barkin Ladi, including the Chairman, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo. Dem discuss how faith leaders fit help promote peace, unity and social development. She still talk to widows for the community and deliver Tinubu message of reconciliation give Christian groups.

She also hold separate meeting with Fulani leaders for Barkin Ladi to encourage dialogue and better understanding between herders and farmers, and to reassure dem say Federal Government dey committed to carry everybody along.

Onanuga talk say all the engagements end with one big town hall meeting for Jos, wey bring people from different local government areas, traditional rulers, women leaders and youth groups together.

Essiet come also run one workshop on how to set up community peace structures for all the 17 LGAs inside the state.

For closed-door meeting with the Irigwe community, the Miyetti Allah group and Bassa Youth Council, dem talk about how to strengthen the 17-member peace committee so that reconciliation go strong well.
