Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, don officially confirm say the military aircraft (tail number NGR 931) lost contact with air traffic controllers around 9:13 a.m. on Monday.
Keyamo explain say all efforts by control tower officers to reach the pilot on top radio failed completely before news come confirm say the plane don crash for Igbokoda, Ondo State.
"All efforts to raise the aircraft on radio proved abortive... Further information on this unfortunate incident will be made available subsequently." — Festus Keyamo
The Minister reveal say the wreckage of the aircraft don already dey located close to the Naval Base inside Igbokoda, and search and rescue teams don enter ground immediately to check the situation.

Keyamo clear the air say even though control and regulation of military aircraft no dey under his ministry or the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), he don call the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, to assure am of total cooperation and backup from civil aviation resources.
The Nigerian Air Force earlier confirm say the plane dey on a routine operational movement from Benin to Lagos before the tragedy happen.
Spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, DSP Jimoh Abayomi, also confirm the crash, noting say full details and clearer picture of wetin cause the crash still dey emerge as rescue team dey work.
For now, government and military authorities never give any official statement on casualties or if any survivor dey rescued from the crash site.
