President Bola Tinubu don call on Nigerian leaders to put the country’s interest before their own personal interest and make sure their work dey help the nation grow.
Tinubu, wey the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, represent, make the call during a thanksgiving service to celebrate the 70th birthday of former SGF, Boss Mustapha.
He urge government officials and ordinary Nigerians to make serving the people and doing wetin good for everybody important values. He also say leaders suppose put Nigeria interest before their personal ambition.
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, describe Mustapha as good example of honesty and integrity for public service. He also call for more unity among political leaders for the Middle Belt.
As part of activities to mark him 70th birthday, Mustapha donate a library complex to Lutheran University Nigeria for Demsa, Adamawa State.
During the handover ceremony, the former SGF tell Nigerian youths make dem no allow where dem come from or humble background determine their future. He say dem fit use their background as stepping stone to achieve greatness.
He say he build the library because he want to make life better for future generations and help education grow.
The facility, called Wesley Mustapha Library Complex, was named after Mustapha late father, wey first work as classroom teacher before he later become headmaster.
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, describe the library as a place of knowledge wey go benefit generations of students and scholars across Adamawa and Nigeria.
