For di inauguration of ADC Presidential Campaign Council for Abuja on Friday, Atiku talk say:
“Bola, you borrow di idea but you miss di lesson. You be like dull student wey copy eim classmate answer blind-blind, even copy di person name for top of di paper, then come dey demand mark for original thinking. You copy my production subsidy proposal, remove di part wey go make am work, and give Nigerians 30-day discount. Where di rest of di answer dey? Bola, you see why e good to go school!”
Atiku add say government don before call eim idea nonsense and say e no fit work. Now e demand apology from Tinubu and ask wetin go happen after di 30 days finish. E describe di discount as temporary “sugar rush” wey no go solve di real problem, while eim own plan na long-term, targeted subsidy wey go support local refining and get proper budget and audit.
Government announce di 30-day discount (with priority for public transport) just one day before. Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele say e no be return to full fuel subsidy, na just make NNPC sell at cost for that period.
