Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, don carry out airstrike for northwest of Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area for Borno State, around 11:50 p.m. on October 23.

Capt. Mohammed Goni, wey be acting military information officer for the task force headquarters, talk say dem carry out the strike after dem get correct intelligence and confirm say terrorists dey move for the area.

Him add say ground troops later enter the area to continue the operation and make sure say dem hold on to the gains wey dem don make.

According to Goni, the operation show how correct intelligence and coordinated military action fit help disrupt terrorists’ movements and reduce their ability to carry out attacks.

Him explain say the strike na part of ongoing military offensive to stop terrorists from moving freely and threatening communities across the North-East.

Goni reaffirm say the Theatre Command remain committed to defeating terrorism and insurgency, protecting law-abiding citizens, and creating conditions wey go allow normal life and economic activities return to affected communities.

Him assure Nigerians say troops go continue their operations with vigilance, determination and professionalism.

The military don also appeal to residents make dem continue to work with security agencies by giving dem correct and timely information about suspicious movements and activities.
