Bribery Wahala: UK Court Don Free Alison-Madueke on £70,000 Bail.

Former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, show face for Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday because dem accuse am say she collect £100,000 bribe.

Dem give am bail of £70,000 for Westminster Magistrates' Court. Di district judge, Michael Snow, add some conditions, wey include curfew wey she must dey house from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., she go wear electronic tag, and she must pay £70,000 surety.

Even though she never officially talk whether she guilty or not, her lawyer, Mark Bowen, talk say Alison-Madueke go plead not guilty.

Her next court appearance go happen for 30th October for Southwark Crown Court, wey dey handle serious criminal matter.

UK National Crime Agency believe say she collect bribes in exchange for oil and gas contracts and she dey enjoy plenty luxury like cash, chauffeur-driven cars, private jet flights, and plenty other things.

Dem also help US collect $53.1 million wey dem believe say dey linked to her alleged corruption.

Alison-Madueke bin be Nigeria petroleum minister from 2010 to 2015. She run comot from Nigeria go UK for 2015, and EFCC wan carry am come back for trial on top money laundering charges.
