Veteran Nigerian actor, Yemi Solade, don shake social media after e talk say e senior legendary actor Pete Edochie for Nollywood.
For one video wey don go viral, Solade clear di air say even though Edochie old pass am for age, na him (Solade) start to act film before am. “I senior Pete Edochie, even though im old pass me, but I start to dey act before am,” na wetin Solade talk.
According to am, e start acting for 1977 when e be just 17 years old, and since then don spend 48 years inside di movie industry. “I start to dey act at age 17 as Nigeria’s youngest actor. I don do 48 years for acting and I still dey kampe,” e talk.
Di actor come still challenge di popular tori wey people dey talk say another group na dem start Nollywood. E come talk say Yoruba film industry don suffer because dem no document wetin dem dey do that time.
“Dem say na dem start Nollywood because dem sabi follow media. Yoruba people just dey act but no dey keep record,” Solade talk.
