Federal Capital Territory Police Command don arrest 12 people wey dem suspect say join hand for di robbery wey take di life of Arise TV anchor, Somtochukwu “Sommie” Maduagwu.
According to wetin police talk, operatives from di Scorpion Squad, with help from Giga Forensics, trace clues go different places before dem catch di suspects.
People wey dem hold include Shamsudeen Hassan, Hassan Isah, Abubakar Alkamu, Sani Sirajo, and others.
For di interrogation, Hassan talk say na him shoot di security guard, Barnabas Danlami, wey try stop dem from enter di house, while Sirajo talk say him try hold Ms. Maduagwu make she no fall from di building, but e no fit because of her weight.
Things wey police recover from dem hand include one fabricated AK-47 rifle, 36 live bullets, one locally made pistol, two cartridges, sharp knives, mobile phones, torchlights, and cutlass.
Police talk say on October 8, dem intercept some of di gang members as dem dey go Maitama for another planned robbery. All di suspects don allegedly confess to di crime, and police still dey investigate to catch di remaining members.
