Ekiti State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, don arrest 16 people wey dem suspect say na bandits, as dem allegedly try enter Ekiti State from Kwara State.

According to di statement, tension rise for Gede Farm settlement, Isan-Ekiti, after residents notice big group of strangers dey waka around di area with plenty cows. Di strange movement cause fear for di community and disturb normal activities.
As soon as dem raise alarm, Amotekun Oye Command quickly alert other nearby units. Additional operatives rush go di area, and dem carry out joint operation wey lead to di interception and arrest of di suspects.
Early investigation show say di suspects allegedly run comot Kwara State because security pressure don increase against bandits for dat side. During questioning, dem reportedly confess say dem dey involve for cattle rustling, and some of di cows wey dem recover na stolen from people for Kwara.
Items wey Amotekun recover include cash, seven Tecno phones, different charms, three identity cards belonging to Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), and several cows.
Amotekun say dem don hand over di suspects and all di recovered items to di Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Ekiti State Police Command for Ado-Ekiti, for further investigation and legal action.
