The vocalist and songwriter Tiwatope Omolara Savage, widely recognized as Tiwa Savage, has declared the conclusion of her professional association with her manager, Kemi “Mekka” Akunyili.

In a social media post on Instagram, the artist conveyed her discontent, indicating her exhaustion with the situation. Tiwa Savage also cautioned promoters against engaging in any financial transactions with Mekka, given their cessation of collaboration.

Additionally, she revealed that Vanessa Amadi would be assuming that position going forward, stressing that no payments should be directed to Mekka, as doing so would result in financial loss.

“I am no longer collaborating with Mekka. For all booking inquiries, please reach out to vanessa. amadi@vapr.co. uk. Any bookings made through alternative channels will be rendered invalid, resulting in a forfeiture of funds. Enough is enough. I have severed ties with Mekka. Even if a booking is funneled through him to me, I will decline the engagement,” she stated.

Tiwa further mentioned that although she dislikes airing personal issues publicly, she feels compelled to make an exception due to her status as a public figure.

“I have reiterated this multiple times, yet individuals continue to contact him for bookings, and I loathe resorting to social media for this announcement. However, I cannot reach every promoter personally. I was just informed that the payment for an upcoming booking was inadvertently sent to his personal account. Those involved will incur a financial loss. I am reiterating this one last time because I will not be held accountable for any loss of funds,” she asserted.
