The delegation, wey President Bola Tinubu approve, Vice President Kashim Shettima go lead am. Dem dey plan to leave on Tuesday, before the October 7 to 9 leadership exchange.
Other governors wey dey the delegation na AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Alex Otti of Abia, Bassey Otu of Cross River, Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno, Ademola Adeleke of Osun and Umar Namadi of Jigawa.
The visit dey follow the promises wey Federal Government make for the 148th National Economic Council meeting during the launch of Nutrition 774 Initiative. The programme dey aim to improve nutrition programmes across all the 774 local government areas for Nigeria.
Nigeria delegation go also learn from Ethiopia Seqota Declaration, wey dem expect say go give dem better ideas on how to tackle malnutrition.
Ethiopia launch the initiative for 2015 after the country promise to stop stunted growth among children wey never reach two years old by 2030.
According to Zamfara governor spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, the Nigerian delegation go study how Ethiopia turn political promises into well-coordinated, properly funded and accountable nutrition programmes for different states and local governments.
The Seqota Declaration dey involve nine government ministries working together, and e follow 15-year plan wey dem divide into three stages: Innovation, Expansion and Scale-Up.
